How the Hub Care Support works locally

Finding the right support should feel personal, not rushed.

That’s why we take the time speak with every single person looking for support.

We want to understand your individual circumstances and needs so we can make the best, most informed suggestions for your support.

Chat with us

First, you tell your local Hub team what kind of support you are looking for. This might include companionship, help at home, personal care, respite support, dementia support or live-in care.

Review PA profiles

We send you the profiles of every Personal Support Assistant that potentially meets your wants and needs. Then it's over to you to take the time to fully review their profiles.

Arrange a chat

Once you've made your selections, invite the Personal Support Assistant(s) to meet with you so you can be sure that they are the right fit, ask them for any more information and discuss the finer details of your support.

Why we only introduce QCAS-approved PAs

Choosing a Personal Assistant is a personal decision, so reassurance matters.

Hub Care Support only introduces people to Personal Assistants who have been approved through QCAS, the Quality Care Approval Scheme. QCAS checks are designed to give people more confidence when choosing support at home.

Checks include identity, enhanced conviction free DBS, references, training and insurance.

Meet the Team

Our local team is here to help you understand your options and take the next step towards finding support.

We know that arranging support can feel overwhelming, especially if you are doing it for the first time or helping a family member. The Mid & South Bucks team can talk you through how Hub Care Support works, explain the introduction process and help you understand what to consider when choosing a Personal Assistant.

[YOUR FIRST NAME]

[YOUR ROLE]

Your profile should help people feel reassured that they are speaking to a real, approachable local person who understands care and support.

Please aim for around 100–150 words.

Try to include:

  • Your name and role within the local Hub team

  • A brief summary of your background or experience

  • Why helping people find support matters to you

  • What you help people with day to day

  • A small personal/local detail if you are comfortable sharing one

Please keep the tone friendly, natural and professional. Write as if you are introducing yourself to a family who may be looking for support for the first time.

Avoid making the profile sound like Hub directly provides or manages care. Use wording such as “I help people understand their options”, “I support people through the introduction process”, or “I help families find QCAS-approved Personal Assistants.”

Please avoid phrases such as “our carers”, “we provide care”, or “I manage your care.”

A good structure would be:

Sentence 1: who you are and your role.
Sentence 2–3: your background or experience.
Sentence 4–5: how you help people using Hub.
Final sentence: a warm personal/local touch.

Example opening style:

I’m [Name], part of the Mid & South Bucks Hub Care Support team. My role is to help people understand how Hub works and support them through the process of finding a QCAS-approved Personal Assistant who may be right for them.

From my initial enquiry to finding a really caring and friendly PA, the whole experience with hub care support has been fantastic. Thank you, Larissa Joe and Lynne for all your help.

I have used The Hub to provide both short-visit and live-in care for my mother. I have found the staff to be both friendly and helpful, as well as having endless patience. Any issues or challenges I have had, they have worked tirelessly to resolve. I would certainly recommend The Hub to those people needing care for their elderly relatives.

I would like to pass my sincere and heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Hub Care Support and the amazing team of PAs who have looked after my dad. Not only have they cared compassionately for dad, they have arrived with smiles, comfort and a well needed hug during the most difficult of times. We have often breathed a sigh of relief when they have arrived and knowing they were with dad when. Thank you doesn't really cover it but a huge thanks to them all and the whole team at Hub Care Support.

The Hub Care support team have been absolutely fantastic in providing 5 star carers for our father over the last few years. Once you provide your needs they find suitable carers and a full CV for you to read in advance. You can then interview for suitability and arrange for that person to join your team. We have been so lucky to meet lifelong friends as a result of working with the hub - carers who have become part of our family.

With the help of Hub Care Support, I was able to find two wonderfully capable personal assistants for my husband who has advanced dementia. Lynne at the office was very patient as well as friendly while listening to my detailed request. Hub Care Support was highly recommended by our next door neighbour. I would wholeheartedly recommend them too. Very grateful for their support. Thank you!

I booked a live in carer for 3 days/nights for respite for myself. I was told this person matched my brief. Well I can’t tell you how right they were. Our carer fitted in so perfectly. My husband and I immediately bonded with our carer. It was a fabulous respite for myself but most importantly my husband keeps asking when is she coming back! I am hugely grateful for being introduced to my wonderful carer.
