How the Hub Care Support works locally
Finding the right support should feel personal, not rushed.
That’s why we take the time speak with every single person looking for support.
We want to understand your individual circumstances and needs so we can make the best, most informed suggestions for your support.

Chat with us
First, you tell your local Hub team what kind of support you are looking for. This might include companionship, help at home, personal care, respite support, dementia support or live-in care.

Review PA profiles
We send you the profiles of every Personal Support Assistant that potentially meets your wants and needs. Then it's over to you to take the time to fully review their profiles.

Arrange a chat
Once you've made your selections, invite the Personal Support Assistant(s) to meet with you so you can be sure that they are the right fit, ask them for any more information and discuss the finer details of your support.
Support a Personal Assistant may be able to help with
Every person’s situation is different, so support should be flexible around individual needs.
QCAS-approved Personal Assistants may be able to help with:
Companionship
Personal Care
Shopping & errands
Eating & meal preparation
Communication & technology
Daily routines
Domestic tasks
Transport
Keeping active
Overnight support
Live in & respite care
Specialist support
Why we only introduce QCAS-approved PAs
Choosing a Personal Assistant is a personal decision, so reassurance matters.
Hub Care Support only introduces people to Personal Assistants who have been approved through QCAS, the Quality Care Approval Scheme. QCAS checks are designed to give people more confidence when choosing support at home.
Checks include identity, enhanced conviction free DBS, references, training and insurance.

Meet the Team
Our local team is here to help you understand your options and take the next step towards finding support.
We know that arranging support can feel overwhelming, especially if you are doing it for the first time or helping a family member. The Mid & South Bucks team can talk you through how Hub Care Support works, explain the introduction process and help you understand what to consider when choosing a Personal Assistant.
[YOUR FIRST NAME]
[YOUR ROLE]
Your profile should help people feel reassured that they are speaking to a real, approachable local person who understands care and support.
Please aim for around 100–150 words.
Try to include:
Your name and role within the local Hub team
A brief summary of your background or experience
Why helping people find support matters to you
What you help people with day to day
A small personal/local detail if you are comfortable sharing one
Please keep the tone friendly, natural and professional. Write as if you are introducing yourself to a family who may be looking for support for the first time.
Avoid making the profile sound like Hub directly provides or manages care. Use wording such as “I help people understand their options”, “I support people through the introduction process”, or “I help families find QCAS-approved Personal Assistants.”
Please avoid phrases such as “our carers”, “we provide care”, or “I manage your care.”
A good structure would be:
Sentence 1: who you are and your role.
Sentence 2–3: your background or experience.
Sentence 4–5: how you help people using Hub.
Final sentence: a warm personal/local touch.
Example opening style:
